Yesterday should have been an okay day considering my super thesis groupmates (Embs! Mai!) and I found more stuff to read.
And the weather was just right.
So I went home around 5PM, enviously spying on the LM applicants doing their 6K run.
And then drive. And then U-Turn Slot #6. And then wait for the cars from Balara to pass by. And then BOOOMM. Where the hell did that stupid car come from?! At least there weren't any life threatening damages (heart attack inducing dents that is). I should have accused the poor guy of breaking my signal lights as well (even if it was from a 7am incident in the GS streets of hell two sems ago).
I can tell you the story if you want in person! Because for once it wasn't my fault hahaha.

It's my turn to talk about my OJT. Actually, last day na lang since yun pinaka...uhhh.
So nagtranscribe ako nung message ni Dr. Ona from National Kidney and Transplant Institue (NKTI). Two weeks andun ako sa hospital sumusunod sa director. Nakakita na ako ng stomach na may ulcer, kamay na nakasaksak sa tiyan at liver na pinaglalaruan sa loob ng katawan. At malalim na rin vocabulary ko. Endoscopy, lithotripsy, ablatherm, end-stage renal disease...Mali ata yung na-sign up ko na OJT eh haha.
Ah nung last day pumunta si Robin Padilla dun tapos as expected, pinagkaguluhan siya ng mga tao. Muntik nang mapatungan yung tape na ginamit namin para sa isang interview kasi sa kakamadali, yun na yung unang sinaksak sa videocam. 12-12.30 kami lang nung director kumakain kasi lahat sila nakikipag shake hands at picture pa. Starstruck! Pero guwapo nga siya at matangkad pa.

Last Saturday one of the best days ever. Success yung pinaghirapan ng department kong Celebrate Life Party sa POC. Sobrang nakakadepress yung place na yun tapos most of the kids may sobrang habang needle na naka-pierce through sa bone ng leg or arm nila. Basta kadiri na idescribe pero pag nakita mo yun, mas gugustuhin mo pa siguro mamatay kesa sa magka bone cancer.
Wala lang, ang lungkot talaga nung ward na yun kaya kahit sobrang babaw nung activities namin, benta talaga sa kanila. May impact papala ang isang paper plate at crayons.
Nakakamiss maging bata at mababaw! Nakakamiss ang ChocNut.

Hmmm 10.30 kumakain pa ako ng Lay's at hot fudge sundae ng McDo. Ang galing ko, pinaorder ko Dad ko ng 4 na hot fudge sundae kanina para may kainin ako dapat hanggang Sunday kaso isa na lang natira sa freezer. Ang init eh!
Kung tumataba man ako, hindi siya pumupunta sa boobs ko. Bahala na, pagugutumin naman ako ng magulang ko pag alis namin dito. At hindi pa ako tapos mag-pack. Pack talaga.

What an interesting week we all had last week, right? Heehee. Not like something happened to me, but still. Because everybody has a lot to tell and I'm just happy to listen to all the gossip stories.
We watched Brokeback Mountain in Elements a while ago. I don't want to comment, I'm still stupefied at the idea of it being a forerunner for the Best Film in the upcoming movie awards. There was just a lot of sex and boobs and guys making out. Ehhh what's so special about that? The story wasn't even that interesting or unique and I couldn't understand anything they were saying with their heavy cowboy accent. Walk the Line all the way!
Politics sure brings out the uglier side of people. I have to check on my battle gear this weekend. A fight to the death awaits. All right!

Yesterday we had lunch in Fish and Co. and the whole bar was filled with guys waiting for "The Battle." And just like any boys night out, they were already into their third or fourth beer. But it wasn't even noon! When we left, that was when the match began and everyone started hooting and clapping. Watdahel? Then all the drivers were cramped in the driver's lounge, even the security guards were joining in. So basically, Makati was a ghost town because everyone was glued to their TV sets.
But in fairness, I was gripping the sides of my chair so tightly all throughout the match and yes, I even screamed when Morales finally fell down. So much for supposedly being apathetic about the whole event. But I want to be a boxer! Really. And boxing is definitely more interesting than wrestling even if my 13 and 10 year old female cousins would completely disagree since they're going to watch that wrestling thing next week. They spent 900 of their own money just to watch. Come on.
No matter how proud I am of Pacquiao, I still think it wasn't a fair fight because (if I heard right) Morales had to lose five pounds before the game and that means he didn't have any carbs or whatever to make him last the fight. And the stupid referee stopped the game!! That wasn't a freaking knockout, dumbass.
And no, I'm not saying this because Morales is hot. Well, not entirely.
